Wine Bar with seasonal menus
Wine Bar: 2019 greets us with many changes, the first of which is the addition of a wine bar offering over 120 carefully selected wines from around the world (our wine list was the first Wine Spectator Award Winning Wine List on PEI). Our wine bar offers light fare, charcuterie and artisinal cheeses, oysters, olives all will be available to accompany it, but bring your own picnic and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck or on one of the picnic tables on Spry Point. We moved our Wine Spectator award winning wine list from The Inn At Bay Fortune when we sold the property earlier this year. Surrounded on three sides by water you walk to the entrance and into the lobby with a wall of windows soaring to cathedral ceiling and cupola some 34' above.
Meetings and weddings: We work with a preferred list of caterers for special functions, meetings and weddings. For those nights when we have special events or weddings we source from our network of local farmers and fishers.
Dinner: There are many restaurants within an easy drive of the Inn, 2e can make reservations at any number of restaurants in the area such as our sister property, The Inn At Bay Fortune in their new Fireworks Restaurant, an easy twelve minute drive away. We will be doing some Pop Up Dinners with selected chefs, currently we have Friday and Saturday, July 5 & 6 scheduled with Chef Joel Short, call for details and reservations.
Breakfast: At Spry Point we will have the dining room open for breakfast on a daily basis (complimentary with your accommodations). Each day that passes during your stay at Spry Point, we prepare a continental breakfast menu to ensure that you are offered the best, freshest ingredients available. In the morning the smell of fresh brewed coffee drifts up the stairs as you start your day with a continental breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, and our homemade granola. If you arrive during June, you drive down Spry Point Road and will see dozens of lobster boats on the waters surrounding the Inn. Lobster buoys abound in the Northumberland Strait as far as your eyes can see.
Bar service: For our overnight guests, we have bar service and a wine selection to allow you to sit on your balcony and relax, or come into our dining room or on the verandah to enjoy charcuterie, artisinal cheese, succulent oysters and other light bites that go well with a glass of wine or a cold PEI beer. As you sit planning your day's events, relaxing on our beach or any of the dozens of warm sandy beaches in the area, you think about the possibility of some golf, or maybe a bicycle ride along the Points East Coast Drive or on the Confederation Trail.
